Hurricane Recovery Update

Good day Valued Members,

As we continue the rebuilding process of the unprecedented events that struck the Virgin Islands and our surrounding sister islands in September, we are reassured by the endless humanitarian efforts embodied by each other to restore normalcy. The aftermath of a storm is a time to reflect on our past, strategize during the present while cultivating our future.

The restoration of St. Thomas Federal Credit Union’s operations and facilities continues to be a demanding process, which began immediately after both storms. Our offices sustained moderate damages, however we were able to open our doors and provide limited services on September 12th, after Hurricane Irma and September 25th post Hurricane Maria. We are also working diligently to bring our ATM service at Raphune Hill back into operations.

STTFCU implemented a 90-day consumer loan deferment concession, for all members impacted by Hurricane Irma and Maria. This concession will expire on November 30, 2017.

Additionally, members and potential members can visit our office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ,to apply for loans, establish new membership,  activate their Debit Cards, or inquire on our various products and services. Furthermore, for added member convenience, our CU*Talk- 844-357-0084, local number 340-774-1299, online banking and mobile app platform-It’s Me 247 and Facebook page remain and continue to be fully functional. These are available to attain account information, receive email updates and speak with a- live STTFCU representative.
