February 1 – April 15 (all materials due by 11:59 p.m. AST on April 15).
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must be:
- A U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident who resides in the U.S. Virgin Islands
- A high school senior (Class of 2026) graduating from an accredited USVI high school
- Connected to STTFCU: A parent or legal guardian must be an active member in good standing with St. Thomas Federal Credit Union
- A 2.75+ cumulative GPA for UVI or off-island college/university applicants. Or a 2.50+ cumulative GPA for career technical school applicants.
- No criminal record (a police report is required if the applicant is 18 or older)

- High school transcript (most recent, official or counselor-verified)
- Three letters of reference on organization letterhead
- Essay (see prompt below)
- Acceptance letter from your intended college, university or career technical school
- Police report (if 18+)
- Community involvement summary (activities, volunteer work, leadership)
Essay prompt
Explain why ethics and integrity are essential in both school and work environments. Reflect on how upholding ethical standards can benefit your personal growth and future professional success. Share an example of an ethical dilemma within our community and propose a resolution.
